1.) Laser Treatment to Reduce Swollen “Gums”
The use of the laser is instrument in the treatment of the cardiac patient or those
patients on anticoagulant therapy such as coumadin.
2.) Frenectomy Procedure Completed with Laser
These pre-op pictures display a pronounced frenum which is in
need of removal to allow orthodontic completion of the case.
This is a 1 week post-op of the area following the frenectomy. Following several months of
healing, the area blends in beautifully with a very cosmetic result.
These procedures usually take less than 30 minutes and are essentially painless. There is minimal postoperative discomfort.
